Hullabaloo!

Accusations against members of the Duke University Lacrosse team made by an exotic dancer have rocked parts of America. The knee jerk reaction by the University to try to untarnish it’s now publically tarnished reputation is unnerving.

There may be a University policy infraction which particular members of the team violated, i.e., entertaining a person of ill repute or something. But, the University’s act of canceling the season, resulting in the demolition of the team, raises more questions than it resolves.

What about uninvolved members who now have their lives wrecked by the fallout? Isn’t a University supposed to have some sense of loyalty to students – even those accused of wrongdoing?

And speaking of alleged-- by cracky that’s what it is! Right now, there isn’t one iota of evidence against any Lacrosse team member. Maybe in the future there will be. If so, the local district attorney will begin the process of making rumors into indictments into trials. That is his job.

With all the Nancy Grace et al hullabaloo one would think the public has no reason whatsoever to wait on the evidence and jury deliberations.
Newsflash! A jury has two choices: not guilty or guilty.

While cards are being placed on the table: Nancy, some of your so-called experts are just laughable. Take Pat Brown for instance. Show your viewers her bonafide credentials -– if you can. Even one would suffice. Go ahead. We're waiting.
